The Coach

Acting and Being was created and is taught by Gaynor Breedon. Gaynor has over 25 years’ experience as a Actor/Performer, producer, director and writer working in TV, film and theatre in London, New York and San Francisco. She has devised her unique and very effective style of coaching from her considerable global life experience and understanding of human behavior.

Gaynor is also the creator of: Brush Up Your British (Eight week Dialect training); Introduction to Acting and Being (One Day Intensives for beginners who are exploring acting and performance); and also One-Day Intensives for Scene Study and Audition Prep. She is still currently writing her first book.

I met Gaynor Breedon a few years ago at a comedy event. Gaynor's clarity and focus on giving the best performance helped me tremendously with my life and on-camera performances. She is both my mentor and dear friend. Gaynor’s rare and considerable experience in the performing and business side of acting will benefit any student that is fortunate enough to be accepted in her program.  She is a skilled professional who truly cares about her students and friends.
